On the essence of transformation On the essence of transformation
Whenever M and Darkside get together and make music, magic happens. It has to be heard not described, but this masterful concoction of apocalyptic, misanthropic, tribal black metal is some of the best metal ever created. It seems tribal black metal is in fact a thing now, at least in my mind. Apocalypticists is nothing less than essential to every serious collection.

Definitely my favourite band. It seems that Mgła started great and just get better and better. The sheer nihilistic oomph of this freakin’ outfit is beyond words. They strike right to the core of my existential nightmare and leave me in awe. This album is my second favourite after Age of Excuse (2019) and ‘Exercises in futility V’ is one of the best black metal masterpieces ever written; the drums in particular floor me. Don’t hesitate to get at least these two albums right now.

So, so good. Massively deserving of recognition. Can’t stop listening to it. This thrashy, melodic, one-man, progressive (yet somehow drenched in the ‘old school’) Black Metal strikes a masterful balance.

Really glad I found this band here. This album is fantastically well put together and the lossless download is an absolute joy to listen to through earphones. The whole of the second track is the highlight of the album for me.

This is a great offering from a unique band. One of my favourite albums of 2019. Dark, violent and catchy.

This album does not disappoint and fans of the first Batushka record should definitely add it to their collection.
There's no doubt - THIS is the sound that makes Batushka great. I know who I'll be supporting.
Thank you for the music Krzysztof.

This knock-out debut has to be the best Raw Black Metal album of 2019. I can’t stop playing it. I’ll be following this band keenly.
