Disappointing. Singerman was clearly the creative strength of the band. It's certainly not a bad album, just monotonous and conventional: two adjectives that could never be applied to previous Genghis Tron releases. I question why it was released under the Genghis Tron name, actually. This isn't just a shift in style, this is an entirely different band, no longer under the helm of its founding member and creative mastermind. I can listen to it and enjoy it, but it's absolutely not Genghis Tron.
