Buyer beware: Some pressings have excessive surface noise on side one. On my copy, the first song is unplayable and the rest of side one is unpleasant. Good luck getting anyone from XL Recordings to respond, too. But get a good copy and hold on to your seat because as good as ALFAA is, Wall of Eyes is on another level. The rhythms are so nuanced and smooth that you hardly notice the odd time signatures and there are hooks aplenty.
