  8. MAKE IT ALL RIGHT EP
    by Nanami Ozone
Damn Yes. Damn Yes to the Hell Yes. I love this band so much I bought the album without having fully sampled it. I just know it's gonna be another little patch of heaven from these musical masterminds. Don't even need to cross my fingers. Consider my fingers uncrossed.

    Bury Me Bury Me
"Bury Me" and "I Don't Care" show promise. Curious to hear what they'll come up with for a full LP's worth of material. Just saw them play. They've got a great live quality to them.
  13. Raise It High
    by Chamberlain
If anything's gonna to get me to start playing music again, it might be this song.
  14. Honest Life
    by COURTNEY MARIE ANDREWS
How Quickly Your Heart Mends How Quickly Your Heart Mends
Fucking insanely deep and soul-rending work from Courtney Marie Andrews. I've been a fan of her's for a good bit of time now. I dare say this might be her most shining endeavor. She comes with it, twangy commitment and all, and it pays the listener off exponentially with each subsequent consumption. In the words of a much more frivolous figure of the American rooted style, "She's COUNTRAAAAAY!!"
...One of my favorite records of last year. Worth revisiting on a regular basis.
  15. Leuven Letters
    by Courtney Marie Andrews
  16. Spare Parts E.P.

I've got their t-shirt. So ...you know. It doesn't get anymore real than that.
  17. Desire

Right By Your Side Right By Your Side
Might be the best of the batch in this humble desert valley.

  21. Desire (demo)
    by Nanami Ozone
A rose by any other name would smell as sweet as this song. ... A song by any other name would probably be a different song.
  22. Breakfast
    by Good Shade
Good Shade are competently effective on this, their sophomore sonic delicacy. ...Actually I only streamed the record once then bought it immediately just to have the opportunity to write this annoying blurb.
  23. Joke
    by Chastity Belt
"Joke", man. Just hit repeat on that sucker and feel the continual bliss.
  24. Good Shade
    by Good Shade
    Not Bad Not Bad
Good Shade have grabbed hold of my heart and produced a terminal growth via the pathway of aural indulgence. Also, this record is hella-good. Give us more, Good Shade. Your public demands it!
  25. Most
    by Dead Dog
Why do i love this track? Just hit play on it, you'll find out.
  26. Withdrawn EP
    by Criminal Hygiene
    Withdrawn Withdrawn
    Funzerz.
I love this album because having records like this in my collection gives me permission to think of myself as a caste-appropriate, brooding reflective with an itch for the callow abandon of a demographied contemporary populace.
    Like I said: Funzerz.
