Desolation by Interchange is a fantastic album that has one foot planted firmly in the past and one paving the way in the future. The sounds are reminiscent of all your favourite electronic artists. There are gorgeous sounds that bring to mind the likes of early Depeche Mode,Kraftwerk,Vince Clarke,Gary Numan and John Foxx amongst others. And all the tracks are crafted with beautiful melodies and an amazing sense of space. Silence is used as effectively as the plethora of electronic sounds. 5/5
