Hold On (2The1sULovE)(Single) Hold On (2The1sULovE)(Single)
I love this album because The Arkestar (and friends) is simply the most moving, most inspiring, most soothing, musical genius I have come across in many a moon. This music is literally saving my sanity right now. I just love these songs - and Hold On is really sublime - it makes me think life could be worthwhile - music can be a life raft - and in this case - I have come aboard - come aboard!

    S'Wonderfool S'Wonderfool
I can't tell you how much I love this album - but I am going to try! There's not a song or instrumental on here that doesn't move me. It might be an overused word at times, but this album is really a work of genius - lyrically, musically, and with that indefinable quality that marks it as supremely original. I'd listened to The Arkestar on Soundcloud for some time, and was overjoyed when I heard about this album. I've been playing each song dozens of times - finding more in them on each replay.

If you smile If you smile
I've been listening to Fernando Gonzalo's music for a few years now, and from the beginning I knew I loved his style. 'Last Trip Together' was the first song I heard, and loved the lyrics, the tender singing style and beautiful guitar playing. This album has some lovely instrumentals, as well as gorgeous self-penned songs - songs that have helped me through difficult times. There is great sincerity & warmth in Fernando's voice - and his playing is exceptional. These songs both heal and inspire.

I love The Last Searchers. They convey such authenticity, such soul for this type of music. They play beautifully together, and this selection of songs is a treasure store, to ease the mind and the heart. This is real roots music - steeped in tradition, yet always made new. A wonderful album.
