Killer Moon nailed it again, amazing dive into the swirling psychedelic depths of the stoner rock scene. haven't been able to put this album on without listening the whole way through. "Live Fast Die Young" is the only track that is a little out of place creating a bit of a harsh wakeup after you've mellowed your way though "Temple of The Son" but over all the album is a MUST have music experience.
Face melting solos and and catchy fuzzed out bass lines, these guys know how it's done! with most of their songs nearing the 10 min mark you're getting a lot of fuzz for your fiver. Give them some support, they work in retail...
This album has quite a different vibe from their stand out Lightning a the Door, it's always nice to see a band progressing and developing. More mellow tracks with odd tunings and acoustic instrumental classical noodlings, with a few southern style fuzzy blues tracks mixed in. They still retain that magic that makes them one of my favourite bands.
this 3 song EP is so ridiculously heavy. pure british stoner doom, capturing the heart of early sabbath and chucking it into the dark recesses of hell. if 13 sounded anything like this there'd be a lot more happy sabbath fans. loaded with tons of beefy hooks and stern upfront vocals. cannot wait to hear more from this band!
