Of course I own the original Cd, but there's so much to listen to, I haven't put this on in a while. Just listening to my Bandcamp digital now. In tears! Where do I begin? First! Two songs that our Melanie didn't write, but she owns them! "Arrow" and "Estate Sale" - both written by Cheryl Wheeler, but Melanie makes them hers!!!
"Detroit or Buffalo" - special place in my heart - since I've driven that route so many times, and a few of those to see Melanie. I remember from Arabesque album and I saw her sing it live then!
Rock n roll Heart! Purple Haze! Hard Rain! She rocks them! But tears fell when I listened once again to "Tonight's the Kind of Night" ...i know this song, but tonight it brought me to tears again. I only hope that maybe----just maybe---she will choose to sing this at The Turning Point this May 11, 2017!!! Please? Melanie? If you read this???

I thought I had all Melanie's releases! I guess I don't. I just bought this digital release today and have been listening all night! It's truly special. A live recording from the UK! Fun and high energy with the best blend of early treasures and more recent treasures! The quality of the recording is crisp and clear and Melanie and Beau blend their voices in perfect harmony. I don't think I own a recording where Beau does as much singing! Love that! Of course of the early treasures, "BP" is a standout. Always makes me cry . The nugget "Animal Crackers " sounded new and even more fun...is that possible? Listening to the introductory stories is like being right there at a live show! Of recent compositions, "Jammin Alone" is always my personal favorite, but this treatment of "Love Doesn't Have to Hurt"
is flawless! Too many treasures. I highly recommend this - available on BandCamp so you have it in seconds!
