  3. My Fair Lady
    by Sean McGowan
On The Street Where You Live On The Street Where You Live
I have included the album My Fair Lady, very tastefully performed by solo guitarist Sean McGowan. His playing is evocative of Joe Pass or Martin Taylor but always with his own individual style.
Classic clean but modern tone of solo semi-acoustic jazz guitar played fingerstyle. Great sense of rhythmic pulse, excellent harmonization of melodies, acrobatic solos, and nice bass also. What more could you want. Besides Sean likes the odd 13b9 chord or a maj7#11, don't we all?
    Well played Sean.
  4. Mordred - La Révolte
by Damien Maurel et Lucas Lambert
    Oh long Oh long
Lots of dark gothic moods conveyed here. There are both subtle and dramatic use of tone colours and dynamics.
The music often conveys a sense that something is about to happen. The overall mood of the album is ethereal and sombre, and therefore is an ideal soundtrack for a movie or animation, which has an ethereal and sombre mood. There are contrasts also, for example 'Danger', which does indeed convey a sense of danger, and L'Assault, which must be for a battle scene. Well worth a listen.

    Awakening Awakening
Being new to Bandcamp, I wasn't happy about having to select a favourite track - because EVERY track in this album is a joy for the ears. Wonderfully sculpted compositions played and sung by musicians who are masters of their craft.
I will try to be brief but I must mention a few tracks: the joyous rhythms of Meu Rio; Awakening for its gentle melody, space, and lovely harmonies; Luana for the beautiful singing; o Voo da Mosca for the virtuosic, hypnotic, tight interplay of Guitar and Bass.
