The first impression is: "I think Sergio Leone would like this album". But that would be a very easy way to put it. Geir Sundstøl's music is more than a pastiche of the old spaghetti western music. It goes beyhond that label, because of the depth in each theme. But the imaginary is there: the landscapes, the sounds, the roots. A very nice surprise.
  9. Lanzarote
by Jo Berger Myhre / Olafur Björn Ólafsson
Atomised - All we´ve got Atomised - All we´ve got
I didn't know the work of these two musicians. I bought the album blindfloded. And after some tracks I tought: "What an album!". Jo Berger Myhre and Olafur Björn Ólafsson are creators of a wonderful and surprising album, full of amazing sounds and capable of transporting the listener to the middle of an ocean, to the top of a mountain or to a great and vast plain.

Great, great album. A worthy sucessor of "Lumen Drones" (ECM, 2014). All the tracks are truly and beautiful soundscapes.

This is my first experience with the music of Frode Haltli. I have lisent to the album several times. Once, again, I bought the album without knowing the artist. It is one of my favourite hobbies. My first impression: I think this album is a good soundtrack for Hamsun's novel "Growth of the Soil".
