  1. Phonolite
    by Toàn
The best way I have to describe this album are those half-remembered dreams that sometimes pull on you after waking up. They weren't truly happy and were even distressing at times, but you nonetheless feel a yearning to experience them that you can't quite explain. Perhaps it is a meal that is appetizing without a strong flavor or the strange peace that comes with active motion. Regardless, a uniquely cerebral production in the same unique style of Toàn's other work.

    Caillou Caillou
The same unique style of composition that gave histós lusis such a pleasant soundscape reappears with Volta No Vento. It's a worthy successor.
  7. Minecraft, but it's Everywhere At The End Of Time
    by Supra
Caretaker + Minecraft, but it doesn't detract from either. Whenever I listen to this, I feel as though I had been pranked.
  8. Songs for Lost Films
    by Dead The Long Year
It's legitimately good dark ambient in the plunderphonics vein. Not sure what else to say.
  9. Minecraft, but it's An Empty Bliss Beyond This World
    by Supra
Came from a late night search for an Empty Bliss on Google. You can't even consider this a parody as it stands just as well as the original.

    Thunderbird Thunderbird
In all honesty, I didn't initially like the different direction taken on Excursions, but the occasional play has seen it really grow on me. It's a subtle work, but not subdued like Dief. Art on the Digipak is really neat, too.

    Ghostly Ballet Ghostly Ballet
In my experience, both ambient and drone producers struggle with the fundamental core of their chosen style: theme and variation. Toàn's first album nails that balance with deft acoustic samples and field-recordings. One of my consistent favorites.
