This review is going to start like a Yelp ad: I never write anything about music. Mainly, because I don't listen to music. But Dayton Swim Club is on a different plane and is good enough that even the sensory sensitive can appreciate. The sound is melodic noir, and the lyrics are whip smart, so much so that you want to write them down. This is acoustic perfume, rich, textured, atmospheric. It's an album or our times, but more than that, Dayton Swim Club is certainly bound to be cult canon.
