A beautiful mixture of everything I love about music - the unceasing freshness and variety of melodies and sound, the astonishing vocal performances, the expressive theatrical aesthetic, the baroque elements. There's the gentle, the brutal, the precious and the ugly. It's very rare for an album to resonate with me this closely, but this one's personal.
