So much on this album sounds familiar or reminds me of some intangible band who has played with these same sounds and sequences but I am constantly surprised and how much BETTER this album is than whatever it's reminding me of.
Ideas feel complete, songs are long because there's still more to say, guitar tones change and warp in sync with the feelings being created by the songs. I've only listened to the album twice but I think they might just be better songwriters.
