It really shows that the artist was raised among musicians. It doesn't fit into any one genre that I can think of, it's got influences from many places and creates a blend of emotion and musical ideas that is truly unique. The album really captures what it's like to move on from something that you once cared for but is simply, for whatever reason, no longer for you. That's how I interpreted it anyway; give it a listen and make your own conclusions for yourself, I promise you won't be bored!
