I have Good and Green Again playing on repeat lately. The pace of this album is perfect: like a little river, at times driving forward, at times pooling and furling. I find solace in Jake’s understated, unself-conscious singing and the arrangements themselves sing with brightness and life. This album soothes weariness without exacerbating it. Great balm for my post-covid fatigue💚🤎💙
