As I was commuting to work through the dark Pennsylvania winter, "Drive" came on my shuffle and I was transported to the warmth and sun of southern California. Where before there were brakelights and gloom, there was now open road and hopefulness. It is hard not to smile when listening to this song. You can hear the sunshine.

Sometimes at night, I like to lie in my bed and look out the window at the bright full moon. This EP feels like that. The music is familiar yet ineffable, somehow stark yet cozy simultaneously.

This EP draws on '80s and '90s influences without sounding dated. It demonstrates Devin's versatility as a songwriter, each song with a different tone, but similar voice.
