This is the hardest it's been to pick a favourite track for a Bowman album in a long time. A long time. runners up: Criminal Mind, When I Think About You, Sabotage, Identity Theif. But there isn't a single weak track on the album, as expected.
Every track on this album is stellar. Bowman's unique vocals and amazing electronic sensibilities married perfectly with retro styling. Ithaca is both incredibly eclectic while sticking to a central theme of journeys and discovery.
Bowman's amazing third album, and a must have. The lyrics are intensely personal and (to me) deeply moving, and the music is Bowman's love song to classic 60s and 70s sounds, which he pulls off flawlessly.
Bowman is back with this offering of (at least to my ears) 80's inspired kick-ass tracks. The central theme of this album seems to be conflicts between who we are and who other people want us to be. An album with a very solid and satisfying through line.
Bowman micellany, finally collected in one easy place, with enough new material to make it worth picking up for even the most hardcore of Bowmaniacs (who downloaded everything as it was released on soundcloud or what-have-you).
