Really dig the vibe on this project. The doomy bass and ethereal vocals contrast wonderfully, while minimalist percussion and unusual effects fade in and out in a kind of organic undulation. There's a restrained intensity that makes the tracks feel immediate and sensual. Looking forward to more from these ladies.

Lots of flavors on this project, from lo-fi downtempo to shimmery electro-house, all held together with a cloudy hazy overtone that reminded me of Boards of Canada. Appreciated how they were not afraid to switch up tempo- lots of time signature changes, often a couple times a song, while still feeling cohesive. IDM-y, club-y, beat-y, all while super smooth and cool.

Heavy bass-centric halftime with mad groove. Lots of hip-hop vibes on this release, with wonky eccentric percussion accentuating the deep trap-and-dub-ranged bass. Love that I can throw this EP on at any number of parties and different scenes still dig it. Quality stuff, crossing boundaries, I look forward to the evolution of these guys in this direction.

Very impressive for a debut. Super heavy, crushed in echos and reverb. Lots of foreboding atmosphere with less-is-more synths and drum lines. Cinematic in a slow-motion surreal dramatic flashback in the rain kinda way.

A killer example of contemporary world music. Mahdy's previous work was already bangin, but here he shows artistic evolution and maturity. Lots of East-West electronic music ends up contrived, just generic boom bap or festival bass mashed with stereotypical Eastern pop samples. Mahdy, by contrast, is making Algerian music with modern beat methods- the ethnic vibes are rich and infuse the tracks, going much deeper than simple gimmick. Sophisticated, yet would pop off at any underground party.

Eva obviously has an appreciation of 90s electronic music with modern eclectic framing. Really liked the variety on this album, with each track feeling distinct while maintaining the underlying feel of the project. Symphonic synths over a range of beat structures, from breakbeats to heavy techno bass. Interesting IDM elements, but nothing so abstract you couldn't dance to it. A great album for folks who aren't slaves to strict genres.
