This reminds me of early '80 alternative, in a good way. I was delighted to hear these songs. Fans of old post-punk bands like Gang of Four, Magazine and Wire (really dating myself here!) might fancy this album.
This is a really good album, tho not as great as their debut. While the first album had whopper power-pop hooks all the way thru, this is more introspective. I'm happy to hear Nic Hessler playing on this album too.
Great songs, great band. A consistently good album. I wish that the recording was better. This sounds not much like the Smith Westerns except for the great guitar skills of Max K. Favorite track: Follow
