  1. The Wassailant

    Lob Lie-by-the-Fire Lob Lie-by-the-Fire
all Christmas music should be legally obligated to have violins or electric violins. this album is absolutely gorgeous and I shall definitely be listening to it for the rest of the Christmas season and probably beyond
  2. Lolina: Origins
    by R L Hughes
  3. Shrove Tuesday
    by Kofi Young
  4. Ulysses Dies At Dawn
    by The Mechanisms
    Sirens Sirens
An amazingly-crafted story with amazingly-written music. The mix of bluesy music, noir narration, and Greek mythology was not something I knew I needed before I heard this album.
  5. Tales To Be Told, Volume II
    by The Mechanisms
Actaea and Lyssa Actaea and Lyssa
I love the Tales to be Told albums because instead of being stories you have to consume in order, these expand on the tales told in the story albums and you can listen however you want. As always, great music in general from the Mechs. I cannot compliment them enough
  6. Tales To Be Told
    by The Mechanisms
    Prometheus Prometheus
I love all the songs on this album, especially the expansion of character backstories. I am just generally in awe of their creativity and talent! Amazing band.
  7. The Bifrost Incident
    by The Mechanisms
    Losing Track Losing Track
This whole album rocks! The folk-rock style of the music mixed with Norse myth and eldritch, lovecraftian horror is further up my alley than I thought possible. They're also just so clever with the ways they link their stories to the source material without betraying the fact that it is, in fact, set in space.
  8. Once Upon A Time (In Space)
    by The Mechanisms
    Rose Red Rose Red
Are you sick of edgy, gritty, reinterpretations of fairytales? Well don't be, this album is all of those things but it's also in space and it rules. I will never get Pump Shanty out of my head and I don't want to.
  9. High Noon Over Camelot
    by The Mechanisms
    Hellfire Hellfire
Have you ever wanted a spaghetti-western retelling of the legend of King Arthur but also in space with a nice spice of spoken tracks inspired by tarot cards? No? I didn't either until I heard this album and now I don't know how I lived without this band in my life. It works and is very good listen to this album.
