  1. Late Night Tales: Floating Points
    by Floating Points
This compilation warms the heart. Through the soft, near motionless introduction enters 'Glowin', a personal favourite all through Jazz and delicate dance and watery dream pop rigged with reverb. Sam Shepherd curated a sound as carefully and meticulously as would be expected from the Neuroscientist on a mission to explore sensory experience. Fantastic.
  2. Telefone
    by Noname
Sunny Duet Feat. theMIND Sunny Duet Feat. theMIND
Such a Happy-Go-Lucky album. Too many chill tracks with sugary sweet production to pick a favourite. Though Noname tackles black issues on a par with Django Unchained - a seriously awesome and addictive mixtape!
  3. Eden
    by Ivy Sole
    Garden Garden
A very concentrated and cohesive effort on display here. Was glad to stumble upon this gem. Soothes the soul when 2016 gets all too shit. Looking forward to hear more of Ivy Sole and what she has to offer in the years ahead - a promising start.
  4. Our Fertile Forever
    by WOMPS
Gift From God Gift From God
This album is an absolute gem. Albini's production delivers a punchy, sore-toothed post grunge record that doesn't disappoint. Would have happily listened to it end to end. One of my top releases this year! And the WOMPS never disappoint playing live either. Just buy it already...
  5. The Crusade EP
    by TEK.LUN
    Broken 2 Broken 2
Great vibrant album where colour is transcended to the ears in every song. Like taking a bath in a vat of magic acid - the kind that doesn't hurt but you still feel like a badass for lying in it and soaking up its colourfully corroding charm.
  6. Citalo-pop
    by Algernon Doll
Falling In Love With Those Above Falling In Love With Those Above
This album is brooding and menacing in all the right ways. Tracks sink into each other like a slow dissolve into the dark atmosphere created by the album. The Songwriting is beautifully minimalist and captivating. A great listen.
  7. Omphalic
    by Algernon Doll
    Pheromone Pheromone
Fantastic final album from Algernon Doll. Kept captivated by same air of emotion explored on Citalo-pop but instead the sound feels newly elevated - a mature step forward in sound development and suitable closing album.
