Good mercurial band out of Bloomington- see the SSP tape. The record is sure to cull the best elements of HM! Recorded on 4track-yeh!

Heavy Mother are made up of young rawkin' gunslingers and thee young at heart Eddie Flowers (Gizmos, Forced Exposure). They really make any outing more fun. They play the Midwest. A BOOK about the Eddie-experiences of HM is in the pipeline, I hear. All the more reason to see him/them and make RAWK-HISTORY! Speaking of, I'm on this tape, hollering along to Louie Louie. HM got a proper album coming out via Feel It Records sometime this winter, it's projected.

Love this album? Dunno yet. But anyone who quotes Richard Meltzer and plays with Mike Watt in some fashion oughta be nice.

I really got it for one track which got a lot of play in, what, 2018? and the story of the artist's sister being murdered was intense.

recently searched for richard meltzer on vimeo and up came the video for said track- funny stuff, unrelated but not totally, in my world, in my playlists. plate-of-shrimp stuff. RIP Pirtle.

Actually my vavorite so far is Psalm. Vinny (sax) played with Richard Grossman who I still have yet to purchase/hear... "1, 2, 3, 4" which Richard Meltzer did liner notes for apparently. Mike Watt on bass here.
