“Blue Slide”, much like wind chimes, is a lullaby orchestrated by a gentle touch of the guitar strings. The beauty of this song transcends the boundaries of just playing. Here, in this place where he plays, wherever that may be, has your entire being levitated, yet, grounded because there truly is no other place that you want to be, while listening to his music, than in the realm of his music. To me, "Blue Slide", and much of his music, not only poetic but sacred. Love it!
