Simply put: phenomenal. Easily the best The Thing cover I have heard. Sit back, crank up the volume and be immersed in the deep synth embrace.

  17. Halloween: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack
by John Carpenter, Cody Carpenter, and Daniel Davies
I am still in disbelief that there is a new John Carpenter score to a Halloween film in 2018...it's incredible! I really love 'Prison Montage'...a powerful track that stirs genuine emotions in me of loss, pain, and rage that we all experience in our lives.

Up the Yellow River Up the Yellow River
Wow! Absolutely blown away by this EP. As a person who loves John Carpenter's film and soundtrack work about as much as is possible, this album was an absolute joy to hear. What a cool concept blending the audio styles of Escape from New York and Big Trouble!! Listening to these tracks conjures up so many epic scenes that expand upon the films. Up the Yellow River I imagine Jack and Wang running through the streets of China Town during a crowded festival, being chased by minions of Lo Pan.
