    I SWEAR I SWEAR
Really heavy and cleanly produced hardcore music. The mixture of the band's five members are well-balanced at all times and would be a treat for anyone into metalcore or hardcore music in general.

Ritualistic Defecation in Hellbent Ecstasy Ritualistic Defecation in Hellbent Ecstasy
Straight laced black metal with some solid harsh vocals. The sense of traditional sound is charming for fans of the genre and will appeal to black metal fans that are more into the demonic side of things.
  23. From the Kettle Onto the Coil
    by deafheaven
    track 00:00/00:00
Just another nearly perfect Deafheaven track with some really fun thrash elements, showing off why Deafheaven are such an important metal act. They never stay stagnant and are always evolving in some way. Cannot wait for another full length record!

A New Man A New Man
The authenticity and raw sound of The Isolation Tapes is something to be marveled. Every word of dialogue has a distinct purpose and healing quality. If music can be used as a process for healing one's self, this is a grand example.

    PCP CRAZY PCP CRAZY
A truly intriguing mixture of hardcore and punk, never wavering to be anything other than loud, noisy, and brutal. Every track leaves an impression upon the listener, no matter how long or short the track is. Simply one of the best releases of 2014.

    favorite track 00:00/00:00
    Burial Society Burial Society
Very creepy, nasty, and discomforting album. The droning instrumentation is just as heavy as anyone could expect from HANL, even if it isn't quite as painful to experience as Deathconsciousness.
  44. Demo EP
    by Black Monolith
    favorite track 00:00/00:00
    Dead Hand Dead Hand
Incredibly fast track that feels like a combination of death and motorhead. In many ways Black Monolith sounds almost too original to compare to other acts due to the schizophrenic composition.
  45. Passenger
    by Black Monolith
    favorite track 00:00/00:00
Victims & Hangmen Victims & Hangmen
All the tracks on Passenger kick ass but Victims & Hangmen takes the cake in my opinion. The fast pacing, distorted vocals, brilliant solo, and solid atmosphere all mix to perfect balance. Black Monolith are a hard band to pin down into any one genre but the mix of death, thrash, industrial, and dark textures are simply amazing.
