I think it's the piano and the tone of his voice, but the mix of melancholy makes me happy and reflective. Check out the video for the chance to look into Brendan Maclean's eyes for over three minutes. And the guy's got incredible lips and amazing teeth. He certainly knows how to act. Nice. An incredible combination of visuals and sound.
