Shit's lit bro

Julie has a way with words and singing which create longing in the listener for things unknown. Her voice carries a heavy weight of emotion which guides the listener to her frame of mind, as intimately as though they were their own feelings. The backdrops of ambience and orchestral instruments in this album blend perfectly with the closeness of Julie's voice and guitar, creating a masterpiece of an album, much more polished, but no less unique and refreshing than her debut.

This album is pretty bonkers, the whole thing an eclectic mish-mosh of reggae beats and hip-hop sounds. Interesting and enjoyable, it seems to straddle the line between chaos and rhythm, often dipping heavily into the former.

I first listened to these songs on a bike ride home at 3 am, Pedals a perfect accompaniment. An ineffible degree of calm. I love both tracks, they bring me back to bitter-sweet memories which seem now long-gone. Mr. Cooper has always been a favorite, and this album stays among my top 5, the smooth rush and fall of the music truly echoes the waves on the cover.
