    Pray Darkly Pray Darkly
James had defined his sound with each release and this is definitely and unmistakably Ivanyi. A driving piece of progressive metal with layered ‘hammond’ style organ mimicking guitar melody and time signature change stabs. Again David Horgan’s flawless technical and tasteful drums mixed perfectly to drive the whole song. Pray Darkly showcases Jame’s amazing guitar skills clearly separating him from the many daily bedroom releases.

    00:00/00:00
This is a very impressive debut from Show Us The Imminent. Really nice clean vocal tracking and well produced. Lots of talent here and for fans of Tesseract and Skyharbour this is definitely right for you. Looking forward to seeing where these guys will go. Worth a listen!

Ropes Of You Ropes Of You
Kadinja is super technical Djent. Big clean, heavy tones, fast tapping fill, and percussive guitars. One of the best drummers on the planet. Two vocal styles, clean harmonies layering under nicely mixed harsh vocals. Rick Graham plays on a track, not a highlight for me. I would have liked the bass up in the mix a little more but that's me. Love Dominique - Djent 101 and Ropes of You. Opener - Sounds of Mourning sets the pace and doesn't let up. Kadinja is the future of Progressive Djent Metal.

A Fatal Eminence A Fatal Eminence
Wow! Unmistakably James and an awesome new release. Cool new fractal guitar effects and stunning playing. Driving drum work, again on this release from David Hogan (possibly Ouroboros drummer). Lachlan McDonald blazes on Sax and works perfectly with Scott Page’s Flute. Nicely mixed keyboard layering and these Hammond organ type stabs to gives ‘The Usurper’ a slight retro vibe while at the same time being Modern Metal. There is a lot going on here so grab some headphones and turn it up!

Vladimir is definitely on the right path. This is a well produced, slightly moody EP. Nice song structures and guitar playing. I'm not sure why there was a fade out of the track 'Remember your Origins' but this is worth a listen and I'm looking forward to seeing how he develops as a musician. Excellent work!

Dan’s construction of this 6 track EP is nothing short of outstanding. I found Dan via James Norbert Inanyi who is an amazing musician. Dan played on one of James’s tracks. Centersun takes no time to attack with Outspire the opening track launching into crazy drums and heavy riffs. This is a rollercoaster that demands your 100% attention. Superb playing and arranging from Dan.

    The Colossus The Colossus
In Circles is fresh, friendly and gets moodier as the tracks progress. The production is impeccable and the playing is excellent. Robert is a seriously good guitarist and arranger understanding layers. I will say, personally I’m not a huge fan of that sound of ‘two guitars playing the same phrases’ whether its an effect or actual multi track I think it should only be used in small doses. Just my opinion.

This is a very well constructed release and worth paying for and supporting Robert.

I first came across Franq demeaning Ran Guitars on YouTube. He has a really good feel for modern metal and super heavy, slightly dark melodic rhythms. There is no blazing shed on his EP’s just great playing. Great ‘real’ drums from Michał Młyński. Both Franq and Michał are super solid players.

I’d be very surprised if he doesn’t show up as the main player in a strong band soon. (if that’s what he wants). Definitely worth supporting Franq.
