Loved the Midnight since I heard Days of Thunder, and dig how this builds on the dark, rainswept Nocturnal album. Vibes of John Carpenter, Carpenter Brut and Gunship, not to mention the geoscape and menu music from the beloved X-com games. This album is truly extraterrestrial!

Fantastic cyberpunk ambiance! Loving this album, although Half-life and Lost boys aren’t my favourites due to the screaming making these tracks less family friendly (and I’m a metal head!).

The clear articulation is awesome, the beats are thick and rich, and the subtle synth layers are mindblowingly cool!

The sound is unique in its own right, but loving the hints of Kavinsky, Gunship, The Midnight’s Nocturnal album, Twentyone pilots, and Linkin Park.

Amazing album (3x EP). The ambiance of this music is out of this world; it’s sinister, yet leaves you with a grin. Personally I don’t need the serial killer visuals, but the music stands on its own. Virtually every track is distinct and memorable, a rare feat. Division ruine is the one that got me hooked, hard to steer past Turbo killer, and Hang’em all, Paradise warfare, Looking for Tracy Tzu, Anarchy road, and Escape from Midwitch valley are all astonishing! The rest is just pure epic!

The nostalgia of youth and the dreamy innocence of the 80s is revived with this album. Don’t miss out on their previous records either! The Midnight don’t just create music, they create pure emotion - it’s as close you’ll get to experience real magic!

An awesome album that is packed with highlights of retro ambiance! Sunset, Jason, The comeback kid, Endless summer, Vampires and Memories are beautiful works of art, lyrically and melodically. The instrumentals are also pure groove! Not a single bad or mediocre track on this one! The soundtrack of summer nights gone, that will haunt you - in a very good way.
