Wow. Another uplifting and fun record by The Wards. I have been listening almost daily - I especially love listening to The Wards in the morning - to be able to determine which track is my favorite and I finally decided. It makes me wish I was some kind of "influencer" so I had a way of letting more people know about this fantastic music.
So happy to see another release from New Animal. This is a wide-ranging, thoughtful and musically provocative album and it was clearly a LOT of work. I'm loving it.
2023 begins my 7th year of being a Beths fan. I love how the band continues to produce the highest quality compositions and production. And their vibrations in the throat can convey more than just sound. Love love love.
There is no one like Pogo. One of the most worthwhile artists around. Once you start to understand what he's done... the strategy and craft involved in creating each song... it's just unbelievable. A beautiful mind.
Saw Christmas trees up in Home Depot this past week... in mid-October. The only good thing about the ever-earlier Christmas holiday is that I get to work this song into my regular rotation.
