Right from the top, Lucero are in their prime. There's a lot of character in the songs and how they're played. The mix is fantastic as well. The drums and bass are POWERFUL, but not overbearing. It's nice to actually hear the bass playing. John C. Stubblefield is a solid bassist and had one of the best names in Rock N Roll.
