On The Skids is, above all else, a killer rock 'n' roll record. Solid, hard hitting drums, ass shaking bass lines, inventive, exciting guitar work and vocals somewhere between Joey Ramone and Leighton Koizumi from The Morlocks. The elements come together like a big rock tidal wave, smashing your ears with awesomeness. This is a great record to get into Lecherous Gaze, but be sure to check out their self titled EP and the recently released Zeta Reticuli Blues LP.

This record is killer, front to back, start to finish. Ovvl's contribution, "Icewolf Awakening," contains in its grooves everything that is amazing about this band. They are in excellent company here with stellar tracks from Glitter Wizard, Hot Lunch and Dirty Fences. Who Can You Trust Records continues to release outstanding music from some of the bests bands around.
