    BODY-CATCHIN BODY-CATCHIN
This one sees Del with a more modernized set of flows throughout, proving that he is one of the very few from the old school who can keep his artistic integrity while also sounding current.

Catch All This Catch All This
This is one of my favorite albums of all time from start to finish. Masterfully produced in a way that accentuates Del’s very unique voice and flows, there is not a dull moment on this album and it is filled with consistent energy and you can tell from his voice that Del is having tons of fun on this album. This album came out the same year as Deltron 3030, think about that for a second.

This album shows exactly why I consider Del to be the greatest ever.

Hardcore punks can't take it Hardcore punks can't take it
this one doesn’t resonate with me the same way a lot of his other music does, but this is still a solid release with a few hidden gyms.

Am I live enuff Am I live enuff
I don’t understand how there were so many quality releases from Del in such a small amount of time, but this is a really good project all the way through. I’m less familiar with this one as it stands so I will edit this review later with more detail but I CAN tell you I’ve listened to it all the way through and enjoyed myself.
  11. I Wish My Brother George Was Here

The Wacky World of Rapid Transit The Wacky World of Rapid Transit
Del was in no way afraid to flaunt his unorthodox sense of humor and style on his debut which has a unique flavor that he hasn’t really repeated since as he’s an artist who tries new things. This album is very different from many of the other Del solo releases and it definitely deserves the consistently high praise it receives.
  12. Automatik Statik
    by Del The Funky Homosapien
    Monkey Wrench Monkey Wrench
For sake of honesty, I’m not a big fan of the first half of this album. However the final batch of songs from Monkey Wrench through the end of the album is stellar and worth several listens.
  13. ILLER THAN MOST LP
    by Del The Funky Homosapien
    01 LEADER 01 LEADER
Raw, grimy and unmistakable. Very enjoyable especially considering it followed such a prolific period of Del’s career which saw him release an absurd amount of albums in a 6-year-span. This one isn’t in my top 5 Del albums but I find myself listening to certain tracks frequently.
  14. Future Development
    by Del The Funky Homosapien
Love is Worth Love is Worth
This album is frequently overshadowed, likely due to several unfortunate occurrences around the time of its planned release. This is an incredibly thought-provoking album that is very well produced, containing some of the darkest beats and subject matter in the entire catalog.

Eternally underrated but it stands right up there with the best of his releases.

    03 CROCODILES 03 CROCODILES
Much like the first West Coast Avengers, this one showcases Del with a more modern style of both production and rapping. Also as I said before, it’s a nice reminder that there are people from the old school who can adapt and stay true to themselves whilst also growing with the art form.
  18. No Need For Alarm
    by Del The Funky Homosapien
Catch A Bad One Catch A Bad One
A taste of things to come after the debut album. A major tonal shift that would more accurately represent the work that was to follow while at the same time retaining some of the exaggerated vocal inflections of the early work.
  19. Eleventh Hour
    by Del The Funky Homosapien
I Got You I Got You
This was actually the first Del album I bought physically. While this one’s definitely not in the upper echelon of Del’s work in my opinion, it is kind of cool to see such a strikingly personal side of an artist and I do enjoy the different vibe this album gives. I cannot pinpoint what makes it different but it stands out. Some of the tracks are absolutely amazing though.
