Just straight up Man-Blues. To be listened to whilst operating heavy machinery, power tools, or at very least, while drinking beer.

Dance With Me Dance With Me
This is a damn smooth album. It's so smooth that I'm pretty sure my girlfriend listens to it more than she listens to me. Who am I to compete with such groove, soul and musical prowess? Just doing what any outgunned boyfriend would do, and quietly wait in the corner till it's all over.

    Nice Dress Nice Dress
There is something so inexplicably familiar about this album that makes me question my very existence. So provocative and yet so self-serving at the same time. Whatever. I listen to music too. Follow me and show me your music collection :-D

    Parts 3 & 4 Parts 3 & 4
This album sounds like something Bon Iver would dream up by himself in his room. Ambient Folk music with a touch of avant-garde. A pleasant background when in the mood for something a little downbeat.

    Holding Atropos Holding Atropos
A must-have for any fans or newcomers of the nu-progessive movement, or anyone considering themselves eclectic in their musical tastes. An easy album to listen to. Plenty of ambiance, hypnotizing vocals, piano and guitar instrumentals.. Reminds me of a far more whimsical and emotional version of Tool.

    Lights Lights
Chris has a a captivating voice, and it is easy to hang onto his every word.. The songs are well-produced and well-written. It is folk with a tinge of lounge music. Definitely easy listening music perfect for a wistful sunday afternoon, to be had with wine, cheese and air of sentimentality.

    Rain Rain
Somewhere between Incubus and Pain of Salvation's bluesy side. A good 20 mins of sweet hooky grooves and Sean's sexy-ass vocals will be guaranteed to get your mojo back into working order again.

    Born Again Born Again
Despite being a pretty unreligious and this album having a fairly prominent religious tone, I still think Josh Garrels is amazing and this is one of my favourite albums of 2015 so far. 'Born Again' is one of my go to songs for when I need cheering up. :-D

    Defiance Defiance
Such refreshing compositions that enthralled me the moment I heard the album. Some great stuff here with plenty of emotion and imagination. Arn is very good at creating simple, hooky melodic motifs and developing some truly great moods out of them.

Pilot Me (Live from Mayne Island) Pilot Me (Live from Mayne Island)
My teacher once told me 'vibe' is for people who can't play their instruments properly. Alternatively there is this album. Each song has that spectacular feeling of musicians collaborating and 'vibing'. I couldn't put my finger on it when I first heard it, but once I saw the documentary it all became clear. Josh Garrels is a wonderful artist, but it is the re-arrangement and contribution by this entourage of musicians that truly makes the album special.

    Storm Storm
One of the best pop albums I have had the pleasure of listening to. 'Storm' is a song I can listen to over and over again, and still be hypnotized by. That is something I don't say often. This album has lots of emotion, and some great hooks. If you can picture coldplay mixed with Jeff Buckley and a twist of indie pop, you can imagine what 'My Escapade' sounds like.
