  11. The First Two Records
    by Bikini Kill
This sounds great! Over 20 years ago, this was my first exposure to Bikini Kill and I still absolutely love it. I completely relate to this album. As a gay man and a feminist, it expresses and speaks to my anger about injustice. And, I just really dig the music: the lyrics, the noise, the distortion, the screamed vocals, the angst, the rage, the punk rock roots. It is still very empowering & inspiring even today.
  12. Pussy Whipped
    by Bikini Kill
    favorite track 00:00/00:00
    Blood One Blood One
My favorite song is Star Bellied Boy, but it doesn't allow me to choose it. Sad Face. Anyway, this album is still full of the anger and aggression one expects from Bikini Kill, but it's slightly, just ever so slightly, "polished" than previous releases. Practice makes perfect and Bikini Kill succeeds on this record. The topics of injustice are shouted from the mountain tops and the anger is slightly more frenzied. However, like The First Two Records, this one ends on a somber tone.

Mind Your Own Business Mind Your Own Business
I'm embarrassed to state that I never heard of this band until I discovered them here via Bandcamp...but I am so glad I did. This does not sound like music that is over 30 years old. Best description, and most common one, is that it's early new wave and I agree with that. A lot of bands today, those who obviously love the 1980s, remind me of Delta 5. I wonder if they are familiar with them or not. If not, they should be.
