I finally gave this a 'deep' listen, and it's a very easy record to dive into and swim around in its myriad of tones. If composer Adrian W was around in the late 70s this would definitely get a release on EG records or sit comfortably alongside Manzanera's 'diamond head' or some of Harvey Mandel's Snakeisms. Zodiac Toys, is ultimately modern-prog, sort of like Tame Impala with better gtr solos. Fave trax are 'namer of clouds', 'spindrift' and the sublime 'balloon floated away'!
