This album is as impressive as it is expansive. When I first heard “Little Seldom” on Elizabeth Alker’s BBC Radio 3 show ‘unclassified’, my heart was filled with a hope-filled energy, rising with the lush melodic chords. The rest of the album is equally brilliant, rising and gently falling in breath-like pieces, no doubt inspired by the stark beauty of Fogo island.
