Mr Seabrook was an epiphany for me and his recommendation of this album was heeded.

    I Know I Know
Who of us who ventures into this realm want anything less than the unexpected AKA Fresh sounds! The combination of spacious sonics and a freeform lyrical Vox is the cosmos where I first recognised a place where my mind is freed from the tethered pattern of cliche. I remember Alan’s Psychedelic Breakfast taking me there as a young teen.... I still love being taken there 50 years on.

by Brandon Seabrook's Epic Proportions (Pyroclastic Records)
At about 7 minutes in to the 1st track driving home, after the usual settling in to the bewildering world of Mr Seabrook, I was hit, physically, by such intensely beautiful sonic construction that I welled and breached real tears. This is proof that when one follows a musician whose work ceaselessly entertains one the music will develop with the searching of the artist for that which moves them..... clumsily put? Sorry. To summarise-
This is a masterwork by a brilliant artist.
  12. Purple / Black Vol. One

  13. Infinite Hotel
    by Wires
    Relentlessness is appealing to me!
Bass playing Vox reminds me of the late great Burke Shelley of Budgie. Power Trios rule!!

Saw a live stream from Ronnie’s during lockdown: because Jamie was on drums. Emily’s warmth of playing and melodic gifts are too wonderful .....
