I didn't really know Drew Rakowsky's original music but I bought his new album and listened to it last night on a long train ride back from Coney Island. The music I like most is distinctive; you know immediately who it is when you hear it, even when in a familiar form--and this is that 100%. It's also original, personal, intimate, timely, vulnerable, musically complex and well made. I really liked it!
