I loved the first Flying Machines album but they've taken it to a whole new level with 'Still Life'. This album has a really good variety of different tracks and yet the whole thing hangs together as a whole. It's a great listen and you'll be finding new depths with every play.

If you get the chance to see the band play live don't miss it, they have grown to be very accomplished live performers and the last gig I saw had a real buzz.

It's always very gratifying when you take a punt on an album and it's a winner. I heard 'Emotional Math Metal' on Radio 2 late one night whilst driving. I fought all the way home to keep the band name in my head so I could look them up. I'm so glad I did as the rest of the album lives up to the standard of the track that first grabbed my attention. I'm really excited about Flying Machines and look forward to more superb music and performances from them.
