  1. Broken Open
    by The Human Experience
Setting Myself Free (feat. Quixotic) Setting Myself Free (feat. Quixotic)
A journey from the beginning to the end, it could be said it's a journey of love or of life, but no matter, it's wonderful. I found with my eyes closed that I fly that journey, sometimes soaring and sometimes gliding but always with a weightless feeling of freedom. I really love this album and The Human Experience's work -- outstanding.
  2. Soul Visions
by Rising Appalachia and The Human Experience
    Downtown Downtown
Completely unique and altogether transporting, this is a great mix of sound, both of instruments and voice. Since I 'had to' choose a favorite track, I closed my eyes and pointed, but in reality I'd say 1-7 since each is a little masterpiece on it's own.
  3. Grand Masquerade
    by The Trouble Notes
    Grand Masquerade Grand Masquerade
I say Grand Masquerade is my favorite track, but ALL the tracks are my favorites. Beginning with the first notes of the first track and through the last notes of the last track, I was filled from my head to my toes! Best sound I've heard in years!

  4. The Hiding
    by Kacey Johansing
Bow and Arrow Bow and Arrow
Happily ran across your music tonight and just adore Bow and Arrow. Thoughtful, dreamy, and thought provoking at the same time, it carried me away. I find your voice to be very true and genuine throughout your album and also loved the almost jazzy sound of Hold Steady. Great job and so glad I found and bought your music. Thanks, Kacey!
  5. Fading Mystery
    by Taarka
    Don't Go Don't Go
I love Taarka and am lucky to have almost all of their albums. From the beginning, I have found them to be completely original in their sound, from bluegrass to folk to gypsy jazz and with a blending of their voices that is just wonderful. With each new album, I always declare it to be my favorite and then the next comes out and I say it again. Their talent on strings is outstanding and actually makes me have quick intakes of breath and a "wow" breathing out. Love it!
