Andy's tone on the fretless is amazing! Its great to get to hear some of his new tunes.

At the risk of being super abstract, my favorite thing about this album is that I can't tell if it moves fast or slowly. It's incredibly thick and viscous, but still melodic, playful, and easy to listen to.

I've had the Bump cds for a while, but it's been really cool digging into all of the stuff Previte has been posting onto bandcamp lately! It's really fun to hear this combination of musicians in such an open, yet structured environment. Quinella sets the tone for an album that, to me, sounds heavy and serious, but with a joyful tone. I've never heard Don Byron on bari before, so that was especially cool to hear on a couple tracks. My favorite parts on this one are the swingers though!
