I fell in love with The Horror and the Wild last year and am delighted that Ruin has captured me just the same. There's something about the lyrics that's so real, with a relatability that I think is very hard to find in music, particularly in the modern mainstream. Drinking Song for the Socially Anxious has my whole heart this time, speaking to me as somebody who has never fit into a party scene in my whole life. I know I'll be looping this album well into next year!
