The story and lore of the game is so opaque and hard to digest, that you start to think that what you were given was not meant to be eaten. Like you were given rocks when you were offered bread.

That heavily taints what is otherwise the greatest game soundtrack of 2021.
  4. The Egg Nog Song

Holy... You know how when you're sad, happy songs don't make you feel more happy? That's the difference between happy and UPLIFTING. This is a healing salve. Use it wisely.

I really like this game, the insurmountable feat of improving upon Undertale. Less wonky, but the music is very much like Homestuck. I am pleased.

...Fascinating. A revision: the sound is not as harsh or overwhelming with swimmer's ear. Normally the sound is so real and so strong it feels like it's tearing though your softer tissues, but after a shower it's quite meek and restrained and enjoyable. Maybe the opening just gave a bad impression with its muscle-seizing arythmia and this album is meant to be heard underwater. Or, perhaps that painful, piercing reality is the point, and only sounds good to those who aren't really hearing it.

Hey, this time there's bass, and it doesn't feel like a bed of nails in my throat... all the time. Cool concepts and the barest hint of improvement. Wish all that old stuff wasn't so unbearable, it could be so, so much more.

I think I might just be getting used to it now. It's sort of a celebration and a mockery of crazy. The Homestuck influences are very apparent and more than welcome.

I'll be frank, this is the most disturbing thing I have ever heard. Profoundly unsettling. As one who's grown up in the church, it scares me to think how polarized we have become, and in a particularly hushed church, just what I was missing.

Fantastic and long-awaited, it's almost everything I'd hoped it'd be. Carpet Ride is really something!, but if I had to pick a consensus favorite...
