When one thinks 'LoFi', one could mistakenly think 'aurally substandard'. That could not be further from the truth. This collection of diverse color and dreamy soundscapes is an amazingly articulate backdrop that is full, colorful, and appropriately minimal. While the music is minimal in nature, it is never stagnant or without vibrantly developing themes that glide in and out of focus, allowing the listener to be drawn deeply into the musical well that only The Monk by the Sea can create. 10/10.

musicformessier creates some of the most captivating and deep oceans of aurally charged paintings that drift in and out of a unique universe of color and sound. There is something so very honest and heartfelt in his music. This release creates the perfect mental space, and the inspiration that I draw from these larger-than-life stories he develops enables my journey on Mother Earth to be one of extreme solace and wonder. 10/10.

    Paranoid City Paranoid City
One of the best kept secrets here on Bandcamp. Vibrant and colorful, with captivating scenes that unfold and develop as the light brings the compositions into focus. There is a certain uniqueness to Disposable Planet's compositions, and this release has a certain intensity and honest vibe that feels very much like a soundtrack. And that's a good thing! 10/10.

Every Ben Woods release is a masterpiece. This one, without a doubt will go on to be the best purchase that I will make in 2017 (I say this with confidence, and it's February). Meticulously crafted and genuinely honest music with a subtle tug on the heart strings and a push into the realm of creative daydreams are what you will be rewarded with from this release. By far my favorite release from Ben, and I own them all. 10/10 (again!)

Ben Woods' vision, approach, and compositions are unparalleled in the musical world in which we exist. His music is just too unbelievably beautiful and more expressive than any other within the ambient genre. Every composition within this release is crafted with delicate care and integrity. Very intense and achingly beautiful, this release will open you mind and heart to a new universe. Highly Recommended. 10/10
