Though it bears little resemblance to the band that would soon come to form, the scattershot sound collages and noisy jams make for an entertainingly surreal listen.
Entrancing, rustic, melancholy, and at times intense. Great guitar playing mixed with hypnotic loop pedals and a voice like no other. One of the best folk albums of the 2000s and perhaps of all time.
Terrific renditions that exceed the OZ Days versions in terms of energy and noise. "Wilderness of False Flowers" in particular features some killer guitar and bass.
