    The Sovereign The Sovereign
Yet another fantastic album from Vallendusk. These guys are masters at creating this sort of melodic and atmospheric black metal. They've quickly become one of my favorite bands of the past few years.

  13. Glow

    Zephyr Zephyr
My first impression with their preview of the album "Summit" wasn't the strongest. Because of that, I held off checking this out for about a month. I am glad I came back to it, it's fantastic from start to finish, and that includes "Summit". I can't decide if Glow Part 1, or Zephyr, or Tempest is my favorite track, but either way it's some great progressive melodic death metal. It even has a little bit of Opeth in there, while still being it's own thing.

    Vaudeville Vaudeville
I first discovered this band through the previous album, and while I thought it was good it just didn't fully grab me the way other albums at the time had. This time around I was hooked. I've listened to this album dozens of times, it's one of my favorites this year.
