The Gods Must Be Crazy (produced by El-P) The Gods Must Be Crazy (produced by El-P)
I'd love to hear more collaborations with El-P in the future. The closing verse by woods on "The Gods Must Be Crazy" is one of my favorites on the project. Also, fuck Henry Kissinger! Glad that bastard is finally dead

I respectfully disagree with Fantano. I think both of the Junglepussy features fit perfectly well. I also enjoyed the woodwinds on this project a lot. And Elucid's "Halloween" vocals on Supermooned were also nice ;)

Falling Out The Sky featuring Earl Sweatshirt Falling Out The Sky featuring Earl Sweatshirt
I know I'm a bit late to the game, but I discovered this project earlier this year in January. I was a bit hesitant to check it out at first, due to the album cover picture, title, and bizarre band name. But I'm really glad I did. There isn't a dull moment on this whole thing, and there's something to chew on in each lyric spat. I don't regret checking these guys out. They've opened my mind up to a whole new world of art, music, and Hip-Hop that I was only somewhat aware of existed previously

1970’s Post Apocalyptic Skin Flick ft. Fatboi Sharif & Creaturenomics 1970’s Post Apocalyptic Skin Flick ft. Fatboi Sharif & Creaturenomics
Sharif sounds like a slower, deeper-voiced ODB having a bad LSD trip while trick-or-treating on Halloween. Creaturenomics depicts the harsh realities of NYC in a grimey, poetic way:
    "Bums and Pharaohs, wide-eyed neighbors
The slums in the shadows of skyscrapers
    You at the doorstep"

Thanks Blockhead, woods, and Backwoodz Studioz for the exceptional project and giving these MCs a solid platform to shine

Also, the UGLYFRANK and Quelle Chris videos deserve way more views than they currently have

    Betamax Betamax
Sardonyx is one of my favorite posse cuts from a Backwoodz Studioz project. These four guys (Elucid, woods, Quelle Chris, Pink Siifu) are some of the best in the game right now, in my opinion

Whole album is a banger, front to back

Do yourself a favor and listen to this album if you haven't already. It's a delicious southern stew, stirred to perfection
  16. Decay
    by Fatboi Sharif
    Think Pieces Think Pieces
The year is 3055 and nobody has visited the building depicted on this album in hundreds of years. It became rotted and abandoned long ago due to gentrification, nuclear fallout, and environmental disaster. If you dare venture into it (like one of Tarkovsky's stalkers into the "Zone"), you might hear Sharif's ghost, who haunts its walls, chanting these rhymes in the cold winter night

Thank you Sharif, Dove, and Backwoodz for the album. Also, the music videos for this project are really dope

  18. Spirit Roaming
    by AKAI SOLO
Upper Room ft. Armand Hammer (prod. by Messiah Musik) Upper Room ft. Armand Hammer (prod. by Messiah Musik)
The music and lyrics sound and mean the way the album cover looks (a mustachioed cowboy-knight brandishing a sword in some sort of psychedelic spirit realm, to ward off and kill any potential demons that may lurk ahead, in a kind of charming cartoonish way akin to the show Adventure Time, for example). The title, "Spirit Roaming," also seems to be perfectly apt for the theme/concept of the album

"Whites crazy in the 70s the ❄️ good"
    - Castro.
What a dope line, man 😂

I don't know if I'm crazy or not, but this album is good as hell. "So put some 🔥 to the ass end of that 🥦"

Make sure to check out the TOSH sampla on YouTube as well

Thanks to Curly Castro, Backwoodz Studioz, Wrecking Crew, Grift Company, and everyone else involved in making this dope project
