Occult Black Metal. These guys are the real deal. True practicing occultists. Musically, it's like Emperor never broke up. Yes, they're that good. Plus one of the vocalists has two other bands as well. If you like black metal, this is mandatory.
  2. A Friend With Weed Is A Friend Indeed
    by GOREPOT
    favorite track 00:00/00:00
    A Cheap Circumcision Is A Rip-Off A Cheap Circumcision Is A Rip-Off
They started out more as a joke band. Then got serious. Now they're some of the funnest, most insane grinding death metal you'll ever hear. Not to mention the samples they use. Check it out, it's great work.
  3. Mine (CSR231LP)
    by She Spread Sorrow
    favorite track 00:00/00:00
Crushed On The Pillow Crushed On The Pillow
Probably one of the best seething dark, sinister noise/ambient fusion albums I've heard in a long time. If you like her work, check out Pharmakon, and Puce Mary as well. Excellent.
  4. Wake
    by Lycia
    favorite track 00:00/00:00
    Nothing Nothing
I have a long enduring obsession with Lycia. They have always been a favorite of mine. It never ceases to amaze me how many other metal heads, and bands love them too.
  5. Sleep - Night - Death
    by Caul & Kirchenkampf
    favorite track 00:00/00:00
And The First As A Shadow And The First As A Shadow
It's kind of unusual that Caul is on Malignant Records. His work is very mellow, and ambient, and ethnic at times as well. This is an excellent pairing of two artists. They compliment each other very well.
  6. Ulsect
    by Ulsect
    featured track 00:00/00:00
Fall to Depravity Fall to Depravity
Consisting of members from Dodecahedron, and (ex-) Textures, that name drop alone is assured attention, and interest. Definitely is a fusion of the two, that altogether becomes it's own entity.
  7. Malignant VI

Lamp In Hand Lamp In Hand
Kalpamantra, and Malignant get together once a year to release a magnum opus of industrial, noise, drone, electronica, fusion, etc. This is the next installment. Anyone interested in underground music must get this. Again, for five dollars, you can't go wrong.
  8. Red Moon
    by Phonothek
    favorite track 00:00/00:00
    Last Melody Last Melody
I liken this to a dark ambient/jazz fusion. Frail lonely trumpet comes, and goes throughout the album. Very sinister in tone, and vibe. Brilliant. In today's music world, if you want to know what 'Dark Ambient' is about Cryo Chamber can show you.
  9. Backwater
    by FUOCO FATUO
    favorite track 00:00/00:00
    Perpetual Apochaos Perpetual Apochaos
Their name translates to - Will O' The Wisp. They started out as more of a doomish power trio. On this album you can tell they've taken serious notes from the Evoken playbook. Not a bad thing at all. They still maintain their unique sound, and identity here. Crushingly brutal funeral doom.
  10. Utopia / Decay
by Dissecting Table / Sektor 304
    favorite track 00:00/00:00
Blind Despair And Hope Blind Despair And Hope
Dissecting Table is very well known amongst the more noisey industrial underground. The 'Terminator Music' album is most well known. This is no exception. Play Loud !
  11. Aether
    by Abattoir & Satori
    favorite track 00:00/00:00
    Prometeo Knowledge Prometeo Knowledge
Malignant Records released this album. They are the main stays of True Industrial. I mean bands like S.P.K., and Throbbing Gristle, and Illusion Of Safety. Satori are incredible. Sometimes ritualistic, dark ambient, and noise. Love it.
