    favorite track 00:00/00:00
Lighthouse Part II Lighthouse Part II
This is the band that predates Axis Of Perdition. Dark ambient noise-scapes of varying texture, and sound. Great to play in the dark.
  2. Vengeful Ascension
    by Goatwhore
    favorite track 00:00/00:00
    Forsaken Forsaken
Goatwhore. One of the most recognizable names in the underground metal community. This is their seventh album. An excellent retrospective of where they came from, and where they are headed. Awesome, brilliant work.
  3. As We Cup Our Hands and Drink From the Stream of Our Ache
    by Cavernlight
    favorite track 00:00/00:00
Wander, Part II Wander, Part II
The drummer is the owner/operator of Gilead Media Records. Awesome doom metal album. Has everything you want, and nothing you don't. Slow, low, and heavy. Yes.
  4. Voxel Mitosis Promo CD
    by Wormed
    Voxel Mitosis Voxel Mitosis
Single from an album they released. I had to have it in my collection.
  5. Ionia
    by Lycia
    favorite track 00:00/00:00
    Desert Desert
Mike has been going through the back catalog, and remastering all the old albums. Of course which rules. A cleaner crisper sound is always welcome. At name your price you can't beat that !
  6. Terra Damnata
    by Nightbringer
    favorite track 00:00/00:00
    Misrule Misrule
Occult Black Metal. These guys are the real deal. True practicing occultists. Musically, it's like Emperor never broke up. Yes, they're that good. Plus one of the vocalists has two other bands as well. If you like black metal, this is mandatory.
  7. A Friend With Weed Is A Friend Indeed
    by GOREPOT
    favorite track 00:00/00:00
    A Cheap Circumcision Is A Rip-Off A Cheap Circumcision Is A Rip-Off
They started out more as a joke band. Then got serious. Now they're some of the funnest, most insane grinding death metal you'll ever hear. Not to mention the samples they use. Check it out, it's great work.
  8. Mine (CSR231LP)
    by She Spread Sorrow
    favorite track 00:00/00:00
Crushed On The Pillow Crushed On The Pillow
Probably one of the best seething dark, sinister noise/ambient fusion albums I've heard in a long time. If you like her work, check out Pharmakon, and Puce Mary as well. Excellent.
  9. Wake
    by Lycia
    favorite track 00:00/00:00
    Nothing Nothing
I have a long enduring obsession with Lycia. They have always been a favorite of mine. It never ceases to amaze me how many other metal heads, and bands love them too.
  10. Sleep - Night - Death
    by Caul & Kirchenkampf
    favorite track 00:00/00:00
And The First As A Shadow And The First As A Shadow
It's kind of unusual that Caul is on Malignant Records. His work is very mellow, and ambient, and ethnic at times as well. This is an excellent pairing of two artists. They compliment each other very well.
  11. Ulsect
    by Ulsect
    featured track 00:00/00:00
Fall to Depravity Fall to Depravity
Consisting of members from Dodecahedron, and (ex-) Textures, that name drop alone is assured attention, and interest. Definitely is a fusion of the two, that altogether becomes it's own entity.
  12. Recrudescence
    by Various
    favorite track 00:00/00:00
Lamp In Hand Lamp In Hand
Kalpamantra, and Malignant get together once a year to release a magnum opus of industrial, noise, drone, electronica, fusion, etc. This is the next installment. Anyone interested in underground music must get this. Again, for five dollars, you can't go wrong.
  13. Red Moon
    by Phonothek
    favorite track 00:00/00:00
    Last Melody Last Melody
I liken this to a dark ambient/jazz fusion. Frail lonely trumpet comes, and goes throughout the album. Very sinister in tone, and vibe. Brilliant. In today's music world, if you want to know what 'Dark Ambient' is about Cryo Chamber can show you.
  14. Backwater
    favorite track 00:00/00:00
    Perpetual Apochaos Perpetual Apochaos
Their name translates to - Will O' The Wisp. They started out as more of a doomish power trio. On this album you can tell they've taken serious notes from the Evoken playbook. Not a bad thing at all. They still maintain their unique sound, and identity here. Crushingly brutal funeral doom.
  15. Utopia / Decay
by Dissecting Table / Sektor 304
    favorite track 00:00/00:00
Blind Despair And Hope Blind Despair And Hope
Dissecting Table is very well known amongst the more noisey industrial underground. The 'Terminator Music' album is most well known. This is no exception. Play Loud !
  16. Aether

    Prometeo Knowledge Prometeo Knowledge
Malignant Records released this album. They are the main stays of True Industrial. I mean bands like S.P.K., and Throbbing Gristle, and Illusion Of Safety. Satori are incredible. Sometimes ritualistic, dark ambient, and noise. Love it.

Nightkin are your 'meat and potatoes' death metal band. Not reinventing the wheel in anyway. What they do, they do oh so well. I dare you to not do some head nodding while listening.

    by Obscura
    favorite track 00:00/00:00

  34. Gnosis Dei
    by Metatron Omega
    favorite track 00:00/00:00
    Ordo Draconis Ordo Draconis
Ritualistic dark ambient. Complete with choirs, and all things you want in a project such as this. Almost romantic in it's pursuit to swallow the listener into the abyss.
  35. Filth Haven
    by Kristoffer Oustad

    favorite track 00:00/00:00
Across The Divide Across The Divide
Almost sadistically depressive in their outlay of dark, and I do mean dark ambient. Not for the weak.
